Season 2, Episode 3: Rebecca Minkoff

With a designer presence in over 900 retail stores around the world, any fashion lover knows the signature look of a Rebecca Minkoff design. As the Chief Creative Officer of her fashion empire, Rebecca Minkoff and her brother, Uri Minkoff, officially launched her iconic global brand in 2005. Following a rapid launch onto the national scene, Rebecca’s signature reconstructed “I Love New York” T-shirt emerged as a trademark item in women’s apparel. Her now multimillion-dollar business spans from handbags to footwear to jewelry to fragrances–and the list goes on.

In her recent book, Fearless: The New Rules for Unlocking Creativity, Courage, and Success, Rebecca outlines 21 key rules for a more courageous and inspired approach to daily life–all influenced by the trials and tribulations of her own. While balancing her life as a serial entrepreneur and married mother of three, Rebecca dedicates time to help other women through her non-profit, the Female Founder Collective, and through the powerful stories shared on her hit podcast, Superwomen with Rebecca Minkoff. Kirsten Holtz Naim sits down with Rebecca to discuss her journey as a serial rule-breaker, paving her own path, signing her own permission slips, and creating her own rules.
